HYDROELECTRIC POWER GENERATION
Multiner, along with other partners, holds the rights to the preparation of inventory revision studies as well as technical and economic feasibility studies to the creation of a hydroelectric power plant to be built in the Uruguai river, on the border of the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.
The estimated installed capacity of the hydroelectric power plant is approximatelly 330 MW.
The Brazilian Power Sector Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved the inventory studies in August, 2009. Feasibility studies are expected to be concluded by July, 2010.
